The self explosion of tempered glass originates from vulcanization. During the heating stage of tempering treatment, nickel sulfide is in a high-temperature state. During rapid cooling, the high-temperature state does not have time to transition to a low-temperature state. This type of crystal transformation persists from a few minutes after heat treatment to over a decade after installation, leading to volume expansion, disrupting the stress balance inside the glass, and ultimately resulting in glass self explosion. Tempered glass homogenization furnace is an auxiliary equipment for the production of tempered glass. After the completion of the fiberglass chemical process, it enters the homogenization furnace for detonation testing and elimination of residual nickel sulfide. Tempered glass with self explosion hazards is detonated in advance during the testing process, thereby avoiding self explosion again after installation, greatly improving the safety and reliability of the building.
